She is the owner of the cutest little children's clothing boutique in Vintage Park called Prim & Posh Tots, so I expected that her daughter would be dressed to the nines. And she certainly did not disappoint!

Sneak Peek: Taylen
I knew I was in for a treat when this mommy first contacted me about a session for her soon to be three-year old little sweetie.

Sneak Peek: Camille is One!
This one wasn't exactly planned, but I just so happened to be in the right place at the right time soon after this special little lady turned one and couldn't help but squeeze in a quick session.
After all, you may recognize her sweet newborn portraits from my website. . .
Has a whole year really gone by? It's amazing how quickly time just slips through our fingers! In the blink of an eye, she's walking like a pro with those beautiful almond-shaped eyes and this gorgeous smile. . .

Featured: Cy-Fair Magazine Fall 2011
I'm so super excited to share that one of my images was used as a full page cover for the "Healthy Cy-Fair Families" section in the Fall 2011 issue of Cy-Fair Magazine!
This little cutie's mommy submitted images from her session to the magazine and was so happy when she received the email that they were going to use one in the current issue. We didn't know which image or how big it was going to be, but I don't think either of us was expecting it to be a full page!
Congratulations Meagan! I know your mommy and daddy are just as proud as I am to see your beautiful picture in print!

Sneak Peek: Halle
This little angel was only 5 days new. She was so tiny, and I just loved her full head of black hair!
She put up quite the fight in the beginning, and I really wasn't sure how much we were going to get away with. But as long as we stopped (several times) to make sure her little tummy stayed full, she was more than happy to put up with us and did a beautiful job for her very first portraits.

Birth Announcement Trifolds
Every proud new parent wants to send out birth announcements, and these trifolds are a great way to share pictures of your sweet little addition with the people that you love - especially if you are like me and just can't narrow it down to one picture!
These cards fold down to 5 x 5 and are printed on heavyweight paper with a beautiful pearl finish. They are fully customizable (colors, wording, etc), and white envelopes are included. Guaranteed to dazzle your family and friends.
Here are a couple of samples of trifold birth announcements I have done recently. . .
This first one is my little guy, Parker. Good example of the trifold with a masculine touch. Obviously I did not take the family picture on the back - it was taken by the wonderful Mackenzie Wheatley of Chubbyfoot Photography, who usually does my family's pictures every year.

Sneak Peek: William
This new little guy holds a very special place in my heart, because he's my nephew! It took us a while to meet him since we had to travel with our own new little guy, but he was still so tiny even at 5 weeks old because he was a preemie.

When I first decided to start my photography business, I intended to focus only on children as opposed to families. But my sister-in-law specifically requested this shot, and I'm so glad that she did. I love it so much that I think family shots will become a standard addition to my newborn sessions going forward.

We didn't have a ton of time for pictures, so we had to pick only one setup to shoot, and I think this one turned out just beautifully. . .

William took a long time to give up and go to sleep for us, but once he did, he was such a good little sleeper. . .

I wanted to get a shot of the new big sisters together (my niece and my daughter). They love each other so much and are both so proud of their little brothers! William and Parker are so lucky to have these little ladies looking out for them. . .

Mine
I've been absent from the blog for a few weeks, and I'd like to share why - I've been very busy with this little guy and enjoying my new family of four!
Introducing Parker Scott. . .

He's such a sweet little guy with such a good nature, and he's fitting in just perfectly to our little family. His big sister is so proud of him, and I can't imagine life any other way.

Introducing Parker Scott. . .
I had tons of plans for all of the newborn pictures I was going to take once Parker was born. I just forgot to take into account how tired and preoccupied I would be with becoming a new mom again! It's amazing how quickly you forget!
When I had my daughter 4 years ago, a very talented photographer friend of mine came to visit and did this shot of her in her nursery. I decided to recreate it with Parker, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. If I can find the digital of Anna's shot, I'm going to post them together...
